the image.
A synthetic deep-field observation for the fictional Asterion observatory. One fixed elliptical lens model stretches background galaxies into arcs around an asymmetric foreground cluster. Deep infrared reveals four images of the same source. This is an authored simulation, not telescope data or a measured redshift.
Select Visible, Near infrared, or Deep infrared. The same observed field autonomously re-registers its source populations and then becomes still. Use the native radio controls with pointer, touch, or arrow keys. Home, Escape, or V returns to Visible; N selects Near infrared; End or D selects Deep infrared.
Visible. Foreground galaxies and blue lensing arcs define the observed field.
